Nature’s Wonders – Dunedin Eco Tour

Natures Wonders will show you the wildside of the spectacular Otago Peninsula with a thrilling cross-country adventure in the ultimate all terrain vehicle, an 8-wheel-drive ARGO. You’ll see stunning coastal scenery and an extraordinary range of wildlife, including the worlds rarest penguin, the Yellow Eyed, in its natural habitat. You’ll get close to breeding colonies of New Zealand Fur Seals and Cormorants, and see Oyster Catchers, Gulls, Paradise Ducks, Hawks, and Swallows.

Taieri Gorge Railway
Departs: Summer (01 Oct – 30 Apr) Daily at 2.30pm returning at 6.30pm
Winter (01 May – 30 Sep) Daily at 12.30pm returning at 4.30pm
Departing daily (except Christmas day) it takes you on a journey through the rugged and spectacular Taieri River Gorge, across wrought iron viaducts and through tunnels carved by hand more than 100 years ago. With full commentary, photographic stops and on board refreshments the train offers year round, all-weather entertainment.
