Milford Sound Overnight Cruise
When the day visitors depart a silence descends on Milford Sound. Be one of the privileged few to experience the long southern twilight and the dawning of a new day in this magnificent World Heritage region. Departing from Milford wharf, cruise the length of Milford Sound to the Tasman Sea, where subject to favourable weather conditions, the sails are hoisted for a period before returning to sheltered waters to anchor in Harrison Cove. The friendly crew and expert nature guides are always available to answer your questions and help with the activities such as kayaking and exploring the coastline by tender craft. Passengers have the opportunity to visit the Underwater Observatory as an optional extra (self driving only). Overnighting on board the Milford Mariner (private ensuite cabins) and the Milford Wanderer (bunk style, quad share compartments) offers a very special experience in magnificent surroundings.
Milford Mariner
Purpose built in 2000 and designed along the lines of a traditional New Zealand coastal trading scow with gaff-rigged sails, the Mariner is ideal for those who enjoy comfort combined with activity. The vessel sleeps 60 guests in 28 private cabins with ensuite bathrooms, (18 cabins with 2 single beds &10 cabins with 1 double bed plus 2 family rooms with 4 bunks). Plenty of room to observe the incredible scenery, either from the spacious decks or from the comfort of the observation lounge. Or go exploring in one of the 30 kayaks or 2 tender craft.

Milford Wanderer
Commenced service in 1992, this traditional style motor vessel has ketch-rigged sails. While still sailing the same route as the Mariner, the Wanderer is ideal for the younger traveller or those on a budget. Sleeping 61 guests, accommodation is in comfortable quad-share bunk style compartments with shared bathroom facilities. Once the vessel anchors, there is plenty of opportunity to use the 20 kayaks and a tender craft to explore the hidden bays &coastline.
Includes a 3 course dinner and hearty breakfast.

Reservations cancelled 29-15 days from date of departure will be charged 50%, 14 - 2 days prior to departure 75% and inside 48 hrs 100% charge. This cancellation policy is strictly enforced. Please ensure you are holding payment from your clients.
Note: Infants 0-4 years please upgrade to the Mariner as the Wanderer is entirely unsuitable.
