Around.co.nz Terms & Conditions
Validity
The prices that appear on this web site are valid for travel from 01 October 2006 – 30 September 2007 unless otherwise stated. All information and details are correct as at August 2006. However Pacific Travel is association with around.co.nz reserve the right to amend any details without notice.
Deposits
Subject to dollar amount booked, a NZ$50 per person deposit is required within 10 days of making a reservation. However there are select tours advertised on this site that have their own deposit regulations, which you will be made aware of at the time of booking. Failure to pay the deposit may result in your travel arrangements being cancelled.
Payments
Full payment is due 30 days prior to departure. Bookings made within 30 days of intended travel are to be paid in full immediately upon confirmation.
Amendments
Prior to documents being issued the first time amendment is FREE. All additional amendments are liable to a maximum charge of $35 per amendment. All amendments once documents have been issued will be charged.
Refunds
- Unused Car / Motorhome hire – NIL
- Unused Accommodation / Service vouchers refunded at the sole discretion of around.co.nz. Product and service providers are unable to authorize any refund on around.co.nz’s behalf.
Pricing
All prices on this site are expressed in New Zealand dollars and include the New Zealand Goods & Service Tax. Price’s correct at time web site launch (August 2006). Around.co.nz reserve the right to amend pricing without notice, and also reserve the right to amend prices if contracted rates with travel industry suppliers are withdrawn or changed for any reason.
Supply of Product & Services
Around.co.nz acts as an agent for the suppliers of products and services listed on this web site. We book these products through a travel wholesaler know as the Australia New Zealand Central Reservations Office (ANZCRO). All documents issued with have the ANZCRO logo on them. We have no control over the facilities or services themselves or the manner in which they are provided by the suppliers. We can therefore accept no liability for any loss or damage which may arise from your use or consumption of, or inability to use or consume those facilities or services. All facilities or services described by us are subject to availability from the Supplier. If, of your own choice, you decide not to use part or parts of arranged services of facilities, you will not be entitled to a refund from us. Please note this rule is strictly enforced in the case of unused days of motor vehicle hire. All facilities or services described by us are subject to availability from the supplier and are subject to change.
Supplier Service Dispute
In the event that you have a problem whilst traveling please take up the matter immediately with the supplier. We would not want any unresolved problem to mar your travel experience, and this provides an opportunity to have the matter discussed, investigated and remedied on the spot. If the problem is not rectified to your satisfaction by the supplier please advise around.co.nz or ANZCRO as soon as possible so we can work on a resolution on your behalf.
Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that you purchase a comprehensive travel insurance policy. Please consult your local travel agent who will be able to advise and assist you with this. Cancellation fees charged by around.co.nz will not be waived under any circumstances, where travel insurance may have covered you.
Around.co.nz, ANZCRO and its associated companies and their employees are not liable for:
- Any event beyond their control, including (but not limited to) war, disturbance, fire, flood, unusually severe weather, act of God, act of government of other authorities, accident or failure of machinery or equipment, or industrial action (whether or note including around.co.nz or ANZCRO employees): nor
- Any act or omission whatsoever (whether within or outside their control) in relation to any bookings, contract, travel, accommodation, excursion or other holiday services (including the carriage of baggage) which results in any direct, indirect or consequential loss, damage, death, injury, delay, liability, additional expenses or inconvenience.
- Around.co.nz and ANZCRO does not own or operate any tour product or service listed in this brochure. Around.co.nz acts as a travel agent who then book through ANZCRO who are travel wholesaler who then arrange the provisions of the products and services listed. Around.co.nz and ANZCRO does not take responsibility for the omission or failure of individual properties, plant or services in the web site.
